Talk:Experience Table
From Shaiya Wiki
Thanks for the format editing. It seems a lot more compact now as well as being easier to read. Now we just gotta fill in the values. Nicolasjager 17:21, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding delete
| If an entry appears in italics, it is because that value was second-hand info.
Ex. log onto Shaiya and ask in transchat "I'm collecting data for shaiya.wikia.com. Please state the following: Mode: Level: Experience Needed to Level. Thanks." If someone replies "Ultimate : 2 : 400" Then, 400 will be entered into the table, but since it's second-hand info, it will be italicized. Info that is first-hand, will be written normally. If you see some italizided info, and can confirm its correctness by first-hand observation, please remove the italics marks: '' from start and end on that piece of info. |
I removed this because that is what this talk page is for, how to improve the page and add more content. Anyway, instead of italics, use the exp value and put an astrix (*) after since it is a more acceptable practice for tables. For example 85*

[edit] Interpretation
From what little is filled in, it already seems evident that the "Grind" of Hard Mode changes throughout the game. It appears to begin at 2x of Normal at the earlier levels (see 1,5,6) and later change to 4x at the later levels (see 39, 45)... where it changes from 2x to 4x I don't know yet, but my guess is that it probably happens from 30-31, we just need to wait for more values to discover this. Nonetheless, the information we already have suggests that the "Grind" is not a single constant value throught the whole game, but perhaps 2 values dependent upon one's level. [edit] Hard and Ultimate
Sorry for being sceptical, but has it been confirmed that hard and ultimate require the same amount of exp? If so, from what source? Nicolasjager 16:59, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
I've been told by a few people playing ultimate characters and also been given exp numbers that match hard mode figures we already have done. I will continue to confirm this with more people, but Im nowhere near UM myself, so I couldn't screenshot it for you - Severe 20:45, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

To help out the table I am in the process of leveling up an Easy Mode char to fill that part of the table.
So far I am up to 16, I have screen shots if needed. I will fill in more as soon as I level up some more.

- That's great, though I don't think they'll be needed as I trust this is an honest community. But, if you do wish to upload them go ahead, but name them to a standard. ex. (Experience_Table_EM_22.jpg for a lv 22 Easy Mode experience proof screen-shot.) But like I said, I doubt it would be necessary.

- Filled in what I could , hope I was supposed to do this lol , first time ive messed with a Wiki..
- As long as what you filled in is accurate, you did the right thing. That's just what a wiki is for.
- Thank you all who have helped fill in the missing values. We now have data for all levels and modes up to 50. I doubt there's very many that go beyond that, though it would be nice to have all values up to 60. Nicolasjager 18:50, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] A related article
Thank you all who have contributed to this article. I would like to inform you all of a new, similar article which requires your help. It is a table listing the experience gained for killing monsters dependent on the monster's level. The article is Monster Experience Table Feel free to refer to Table of Monsters to determine a monster's level in order to accurately add the data. Nicolasjager 18:36, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
